Questions, answered
How much does it cost?
If you have a valid Ontario health card, the assessment is free. If you do not have one, there is a flat $30 fee for the assessment. If the pharmacist prescribes a medication, you pay the usual price for it, and your drug plan may cover it.
How quickly will I hear back?
A licensed Ontario pharmacist reviews your questionnaire and follows up within 24 business hours (our average is about 2 hours), often much sooner. If anything urgent is flagged in your answers, we'll direct you to the right level of care.
Do I need a family doctor or a referral?
No. You don't need a family doctor, an appointment, or a referral. Pharmly is built for everyday conditions that a pharmacist is qualified to assess and treat.
What if I don't actually need a prescription?
That's a completely normal outcome. The pharmacist's job is to assess you properly - sometimes that means recommending an over-the-counter option, self-care, or referring you on if something needs a doctor. A prescription is never guaranteed.
